Coin Flip

Flip a virtual coin with stats

What does this tool do?

Coin Flip simulates a real coin and produces a random heads or tails result on every toss. It is handy for anyone who needs to make a quick decision, settle a debate, or kick off a game with a fair call.

How to use it

  1. Enter your values into the fields.
  2. The result is calculated instantly.
  3. Read or copy the result.

Single and batch flips

Press Flip and the coin spins, then shows heads (a crown icon) or tails. You can set the number of flips from 1 up to 1000 to toss many at once, in which case a summary shows how many heads and tails came up. Below, the running total along with heads and tails percentages updates live, and Reset clears the counters whenever you want a fresh start.

Is it truly random

Results come from the browser's crypto.getRandomValues function, a cryptographic-quality source far stronger than simple math randomness. Each toss is therefore an even 50/50 between heads and tails and is independent of previous results. Watching the percentages converge toward 50% as you flip many times is a neat demonstration for probability lessons and the law of large numbers.

Frequently asked questions

Is the result rigged in advance?

No; each toss is computed on the spot by the browser's cryptographic random generator, giving heads and tails an exact 50% chance each.

How many flips can I do at once?

Enter a value between 1 and 1000 in the flips field to toss that many in a single click and see the summary distribution.
