What does this tool do?
The Email Validator instantly checks whether an email address is syntactically valid and breaks it into parts like the local part, domain, and TLD. It's handy for anyone inspecting a single address or cleaning up a whole list in bulk.
How to use it
- Enter an address, domain or value.
- View the results instantly.
- Copy the details you need.
Single and bulk modes
In single mode you enter one address and get a clear valid/invalid indicator, plus details in separate cards: the local part, domain, TLD, length, and subaddressing (the '+' usage as in user+tag@). In bulk mode you paste one address per line and validate the whole list at once, instantly seeing how many are valid (e.g. 4/5). Invalid lines are flagged in red so the records that need fixing stand out immediately.
What it checks—and what it doesn't
The tool validates syntax using an RFC-based pattern: it looks for the '@', valid local-part characters, domain labels, and a TLD of at least two letters. This is ideal for catching format errors like a missing domain, spaces, or double dots. However, it cannot confirm whether the mailbox actually exists or whether the domain is disposable/temporary without contacting a server—those checks must be done manually.
Frequently asked questions
Does it confirm the address really exists?
No. The tool only checks syntax (format). Verifying whether a mailbox actually receives mail requires SMTP verification or sending an email, which can't be done by this browser-based tool.
Are addresses like user+tag@example.com valid?
Yes. A '+' in the local part is valid subaddressing, and the tool reports it as a separate 'subaddress' detail. Providers like Gmail use these tags for filtering and routing.
How many addresses can I validate in bulk?
Since everything runs in your browser, there's no practical limit—paste hundreds of records, one per line. Results appear in a scrollable list marked valid or invalid.
Is Email Validator free?
Yes. Email Validator and all 300+ tools on MagmaNex are completely free with no signup or account required.
