How it works
Type a domain (e.g. example.com) and pick a record type, and the query is sent encrypted over Cloudflare's DNS over HTTPS (DoH) service. Results show each record's data, type, and TTL (cache lifetime in seconds). A leading https:// or trailing path is stripped automatically, so even if you paste a full URL only the domain is queried. You can copy all results with a single click.
Typical use cases
When you point a new domain, verify that the A/AAAA records resolve to the correct IP. For email delivery problems, check the MX records and the SPF/DKIM/DMARC entries stored in TXT records. CNAME reveals subdomain aliases, NS shows the authoritative nameservers, and CAA tells you which certificate authorities are allowed to issue SSL certificates. TTL values hint at whether a recent configuration change has propagated yet.

Why do results sometimes differ from another DNS tool?
Queries go through Cloudflare's resolver (1.1.1.1). While DNS changes propagate worldwide, different resolvers may still serve cached older values; they sync up once the TTL expires.
