Fine-tune with five sliders
You adjust blur (0-30px), background opacity (0-1), saturation (100-300%), corner radius (0-40px) and border transparency independently. A sample card on a colourful gradient backdrop reflects every change in real time, so you can land the exact glass look without guessing at numbers. The saturation value pulls the colours behind the card through the glass, making the effect feel more vivid.
Generated CSS and browser support
The output includes a -webkit-backdrop-filter line alongside backdrop-filter, so the effect also works in Safari and other WebKit-based browsers. It also produces an rgba(255,255,255,...) background, a border-radius and a semi-transparent border. Just hit Copy and paste the rules onto a class like .glass-card. Remember that the element needs a colourful or image background behind it for the effect to be visible.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the glass effect sometimes not show up?
backdrop-filter only appears when there is something behind the element to blur, such as a colourful background, image or other elements. Over a plain white background the effect is invisible.
What does the saturation slider do?
Values like saturate(180%) make the colours behind the glass look more vibrant, adding depth similar to real frosted glass. 100% is neutral; higher values give a more saturated look.
